Have you seen the new Christian movie I Can Only Imagine? If not then we have an exciting opportunity for you to do so! As part of their ‘Ohana Free Movie Nights, Anhola clubhouse will be showing I Can Only Imagine at Anahola Clubhouse on Sunday, July 29th, at 5:00 pm.
This film based on the best selling Christian music single of all time MercyMe tells the story of a young boy with an abusive father who gets taken to Christian camp by his mother only to find that she has left the family when he returns home. Years later he is heard singing at school and becomes a member of the band MercyMe. We don’t want to spoil it all for you, but there is more in this grand tale of love, faith and redemption.
The movie is free to go and watch and they’ve even been kind enough to provide organic popcorn, and ono food to go with it! There will also be cultural activities and games for keiki who find it hard to sit the length of a film.
It’s all being put on by Kukulu Kumuhana O Anahola (KKOA) whose mission is ‘To assist our children in developing life skills that will strengthen their identity through Hawaiian values. Build self- esteem and enable individuals in a way to successfully manage their future.’
