Christmas Craft Fairs For All!

It’s that magical time of year again. Whether you feel that Christmas comes around earlier and earlier each year or if you’re one of those people who can’t wait to start buying gifts, decorating, and celebrating the birth of our Lord, you can’t miss the excitement in the air!

So many talented people share our island home with us, and lucky us that they are willing to share these talents at some of the many craft fairs to be found around Kauai. We’ve chosen a selection for you here to help you get a start on that Christmas shopping.

The CKTV Holiday Craft Fair is on Saturday, November 18th, from 8am-1 pm at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School. With handmade gifts, jewelry, books, clothing, hand bags and much more, designed and created by local craft and artisan vendors. The proceeds support the students too.

The Kauai Island Crafters Fair has two fairs coming up, Saturday, November 18th, from 8am-2 pm at Koloa Elementary School Cafeteria, and Saturday, November 25th, from 8am-2 pm at The Church of the Pacific. At both fairs you can find products like Niihau and sunrise shell jewelry, bone and wood carvings, paintings and prints, note cards, sun catchers, American and Hawaiian quilts and futons and blankets, sewn gifts, silk floral arrangements, fragrant floral soaps, wearable art, Hawaiian dolls, and much more. To find out more call 635-4314, email kauaiparadiseheirlooms@hotmail.com, or visit kauaiislandcraftersfair.com.

On Saturday, November 18th, from 9am-4 pm it’s the Life’s Bridges Craft Fair in Paradise. Held at Mano Kalanipo Park, in Poipu, this fair offers a vast array of hand crafted products from 40 different vendors. Such as: clothing, jewelry, heritage crafts, paintings, photos, and much more. There will also be local foods and a Mini Farmer’s Market, and live entertainment too!

Kauai Handworks 38th Annual Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, November 25th, from 8:30am-1:30 pm at Wilcox School Cafeteria. You can find out more by calling 332-7220, 332-8483, or 822-1914.

And last but not least is Kauai Museum’s Christmas Craft Fair held on Friday, December 1st, from 9am-8 pm outdoors at the museum. With artisans and food vendors providing one of a kind gifts. To find out more call 245-6931, or visit kauaimuseum.org.
