OUR MISSION
Makanalani Kids exists solely to give life-changing camps at no charge to youth who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience such a camp. These free camps, located in a stunning environment, inspire our young visitors to leave with the seeds of change, knowing that life can be different.

Collaboration
We believe that it takes a village to raise a child. By working alongside local churches and organizations, we are able to provide specialized camp experiences for each youth group. These partnerships are essential as we partner to shape the lives of local kids and teens.
Formative Experiences
We believe that the time spent at Makanalani will have a lasting impression on each person and that through these formative experiences their lives will be forever changed. Their time here will be filled with shared experiences, group activities, fun challenges, laughter, tears and learning. Friendships will be made and memories will be created. When they leave, they will take with them the sense that they are a part of a larger loving ohana, and that they have been uniquely freed to live a life of boundless possibilities.
Place
Sweeping views of the mountains and rolling green pastures offer sanctuary & solitude. This unique property offers a 360° view of pure beauty. Makanalani provides a peace-filled environment that allows people to connect with God through exploring His creation. Our goal is that everyone who visits our property encounters God’s love in a new way. Having a chance to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of life allows for a time of connecting with nature and experiencing the breathtaking beauty of creation and this Heavenly Gift He has given us.
Familiarity
Our goal is that every person that spends time at Makanalani will leave feeling that they have a “home”. A place that feels familiar, comfortable, and loving. A home that is filled with fun filled memories and positive life changing decisions. We hope this home will always be remembered as a place of wholesome conversations, fun challenges, and life changing experiences.
