2024 is closing out, and our last groups of the year have come and gone!

This year, we have set an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 to provide much needed plumbing maintenance on the Kids House, to provide more activities and games, and to enhance the overall experience for these groups. These camps offer young people from all over Hawaii the chance to find purpose, develop valuable skills, and build lifelong friendships.
2024 has been a strong year! The Kids House has been bustling with all sorts of different groups across Kauai, each group working hard to make sure every child who enters our doors has the best experience possible.
Some statistics for 2024:
- 60+ Different groups have visited the Kids House in 2024.
- We have partnered with 40+ different organizations to make these visits happen.
- More than 600 Kids have been invested into through camps, retreats, and events within 2024!
- $0 Charged to any groups that have stayed with us!
None of this would be possible without the donations and prayers of our supporters! We thank you all for your support that makes all of this possible! Night Hikes
This month we had a fun week with Kaimuki Christian School from Oahu! Bringing in around 30 middle school students to serve and learn about Kauai. One night we had an opportunity to explore the property after dark for a night hike! Such a fun experience getting to see the animals and enjoy the stars!
Thanksgiving with the Hawaii Leadership Residency
The first session of the Hawaii Leadership Residency is drawing to a close! These young adults have been such a blessing to us in their service and work for Makanalani.
One of our ways to wrap up their session is to join them all together with the rest of our staff to spend Thanksgiving together at the Kids House and get to spend the night after! Such a fun way to celebrate an unforgettable season!
