Boys to Men Mentoring Hawaii Mentor Orientation Day

Have you heard of Boys to Men Mentoring Hawaii? If not here’s a little summary of all that they do, ‘Boys to Men is a group mentoring program that provides positivity, guidance, support, and safety in boys’ lives. In the absence of healthy mentorship, boys are at risk of becoming disconnected from their community. Boys to Men group mentors sit in circle weekly with these boys, providing connection, hope, and support. Teenage years are a critical time when boys make choices that affect the rest of their lives. Boys to Men offers teenage boys a variety of trained group mentors and Journeymen (boys who’ve advanced in the program) as role models and understanding peers. This powerful group support helps boys face their challenges, make good choices, and grow into good men in service to themselves, their families, and the community.’
We can all understand how our youth need support like this in their lives and this free training day is a way for you to get involved and help youth in your community. This training provide mentors much needed information to effectively volunteer with Boys to Men.

The free training day will be held on Sunday, March 24th, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Golden Lotus Studio in Kapaa, to register and for more information you can call Fernando on 808-652-7762 or email him at fseveri.btm@gmail.com, or click here to be taken to the Boys to Men Hawaii website.
