New Years Eve Events on Kauai

Wherever you are on island you’re sure to be near a New Year’s Eve event or at least some fireworks. And if you’re a fan of fireworks you might be interested in the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration at Poipu Beach Park. Held on December 31st from 5:00 to 8:30 pm this annual fireworks celebration is FREE. And it’s not just big bangs and sparklers on offer, before the fireworks they will be showing a free family-friendly movie on the big outdoor screen. There will be food trucks to buy delicious food from and you are advised to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on to watch the events unfold. To find out more call 742-7444

A slightly different event is next, one more for the adults. A New Year’s Eve Party Under the Stars is the offering from Hualani’s Restaurant, 3770 Ala Oli St Suite 2, Lihue. Promising: live music, dancing, a hula show, New Year’s countdown, champagne toast and a fire dance finale, while admission is complementary there is a $60 beverage package available. Now here’s an event that will make the keiki smile. From January 4th till the 6th Slide N’ Glide Inflatable Fun will be putting on their New Year’s event ‘Sliding N’ Gliding Into The New Year!’ At Kapaa Beach Park, this will feature their well known and much loved inflatables, including Hawaii’s only Inflatable Zipline! It runs from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm daily and for the price of a $15 wristband you get to enjoy all day long fun! Don’t forget your tents and towels!
