The 2nd Rice Street Block Party is Here!

Did you go to last year’s Rice Street Event? If so you may well remember all the fun events and ono grinds that were to be enjoyed. Well this year is no different promising to be the best party on Kauai!
This free, fun and family focused event has something for everyone to bring the whole community together. A dedicated ‘Keiki Zone’ will be at the Rice Shopping Center with fun and games plus the guest appearance of Paulo, the historic Grove Farm train engine! plus a 3-on-3 basketball tournament! Happening on the rest of Rice Street will be: live entertainment, dancing, artisans booths, food trucks and culinary specials from local businesses. Plus from 5:00-7:00 pm it’s the live action painting of “Art Feast” which involves seven mural artists transforming a blank wall into a vibrant work of art! Spectators will have a chance to vote for their favorite artist too!

Its all happening on Rice Street on Saturday, November 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, although the 3-on-3 basketball tournament for boys and girls divisions (5th through 8th grades) will be held at Kalena Park.

Rice Street will be closed to traffic for this event but parking is available at nearby lots. To find out more please click here for the website, and have fun!
