It’s nearly Father’s Day and that can only mean one thing! Lot’s of fantastic events for you and your family to enjoy, with the focus on dad.
Here’s just a taste of the family fun events that you can find on our island home.
On Saturday, June 16th it’s the 14th Annual Dad’s Day Car Show at Kukui Grove. Come and admire the classic cars on display and talk story with the owners. Bring a donation for the food bank for your chance to win prizes.
Also on Saturday, June 16th from 3pm to 10 pm it’s A Father’s Day Celebration, West Kaua’i Style. Held at the Historic Waimea Theater this event promises traditional Hawaiian Music with Lady Ipo & Friends, Shawn & Lehua, Maunalua and a concert featuring Kimo Opiana. There will be food and drink for purchase and the tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You can buy tickets from MCS Grill or by clicking here.
On Sunday, June 17th, from 10:30am to 12:30 pm it’s time to find those reels for the Father’s Day Keiki Fishing Tournament. The $5 entry fee covers a hot dog and soda. You need to bring your own bait. pole and bucket. Suitable for keiki ages 3-13 the contest ends at 12:30 pm and the prizes will be handed out at 1:30 pm.
