It’s Time to Replenish Your Libraries

It’s been a damp year on Kauai and one thing that we know to suffer during damp times is books! Many of us may have found that beloved books have taken a (rather damp) beating this winter. Well before you reach for your computer to replace it or maybe even buy an e-copy of it consider this. The Princeville Library Book Sale is coming up on Saturday, June 2nd, from 10am until 4 pm and they have so many books that they give the unsold ones away for free afterwards to Kauai’s public and public charter schools (or school volunteers), public libraries and non-profit organizations such as care facilities, thrift stores, correctional facilities, food banks, etc. they even sell books for half price after 2 pm!

So go on and grab yourself a bargain before you look to replace, and you might find a whole new treasure trove of books while you’re there. It’s the perfect time to pick up something new and give it a try.

It’s held at Princeville Library, and you can call them on 826-4310, or click here to visit the website
