Earth Day On Kauai

Psalm 89:11
‘The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it, you have founded them.’

Its almost fitting that Earth Day should fall so close to the dates of the floods here on Kauai. Taking care of our earth is something we should all strive to do, this earth, our home is a gift from God, a planet for His creation to live on made just for us with His loving hands.

There is so much that needs to be be done, but small steps will always add up and whatever gesture you make whether it be picking up one piece of litter or spending a day cleaning up Lydgate Beach Park it all matters. And it all shows God that you are grateful for His creation.

This coming Saturday is Earth Day, and here on Kauai we have a community work day at Lydgate Beach Park starting at 7:30 am, if you feel called to help them it would be appreciated. Any help is needed and you can work at your own pace. You need to bring water, sunscreen, gloves and rubber boots. Lunch and snacks will be served. Genesis 1:26
‘Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
