ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi ‘oe? means Do you speak Hawaiian? And it’s part of the basic standard Hawaiian that you can learn at a new six week course being held at Kauai Community College.

The course will be held twice a week and you’ll learn Hawaiian through written and oral exercise. You’ll be expected to take part in the class and complete your ha’awina – which is Hawaiian from assignments – your homework! At the end off the course you will be able to have simple conversions in Hawaiian using descriptive sentences and have a better understanding of relationship of language to an indigenous culture. The course costs $195 and will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays, Starting January 17th from 5:00-6:30 pm. If you’d like to sign up or ind out more, click here to be taken to the website.
