The Friends of Bethany Hamilton Foundation is excited to announce an upcoming event, ROOTED, a Kauai Youth Conference on Saturday, July 22nd from 9am to 3 pm at Kauai Christian Academy. This FREE event will feature speakers, fun games, and giveaways based around the theme verse of Colossians 2:7, “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”
The mission of this event is to encourage and challenge the teens in Bethany Hamilton’s community and to bring Kauai’s youth to Christ and, or to deepen their relationship with Christ. This one day conference is for Jr. High and High Schoolers and will have talks from Bethany Hamilton, Michael Ancheta, Sarah Hill and more!
There will also be a FREE lunch provided by Chicken in a Barrel BBQ and FREE smoothies from Team Jamba Hawaii!
