We love the many after school programs that are offered for our young people here on Kauai & one of the best is the Hanalei Watershed Hui – Ahupua’a Explorations.
It’s a place based watershed science and learning program.
Upper elementary and junior high students explore aspects of natural and cultural resources of the Hanalei watershed. They learn about the Ahupua’a (traditional Hawaiian land districts).
It all happens at Hale Halawai in Hanalei.
