We love our library at Princeville. They have so many great events for all ages, but especially for kids.
One of those that’s especially exciting is Free Comic Book Day. If you have a Hawaii public library card you get a free comic book of your choice (while supplies last, of course). We think that comic books are a wonderful way to encourage kids to read & reading is so important.
The selections include Avengers, Captain America, Pokemon, Grumpy Cat, Spongebob, Strawberry Shortcake, and more — if we’re very lucky there may even be some of those exciting Christian comic books included, but in any case it’s a good day to visit the library with your keiki.
