Yesterday we shared a few children’s Bibles with you, but did you know that there are some very fun & exciting new ways that various authors are introducing the Bible to youth?
One of our favs is the Faithgirlz! by Nancy Rue. It’s a Bible for girls (which is obvious), but it really goes into a close look at the women of the Bible & their importance, both in their times & in our lives today.
There are quizzes, games, verses & just a lot more exciting content along with fun illustrations.
Of course we can’t forget the boys, & there is a Bible just for them too, the NIV Boys Bible from Zondervan. It helps a boy “into the young man God wants you to be.” It has fun facts, help in applying the Bible to real life & a “grossology” which we know is the sort of thing that appeals to our boys.
For both boys & girls, we love The Action Bible by Doug Mauss & Sergio Cariello. Super graphic novel illustrations really bring the stories to life & the telling of the stories fits in with our fast paced lifestyle without losing the message. If you know someone who thinks the Bible is boring, just get a copy of this & show it to them. We guarantee that their mind will change but quick.
