Wilcox Hospital here on Kauai is more than just our main health care center, they also do many programs to benefit the community. One that we are particularly happy they are undertaking is their bike safety day, since it directly helps Kauai’s keiki.
They are holding it this year on April 30 (we know it’s a bit early, but we also know how quickly your children’s schedules can fill).
They will be giving away hundreds of certified helmets for free as well as providing a helmet fit station, information on bike & skateboard safety, skills enhancement courses & drawings for free bikes & skateboards!
It sounds like a day that is both fun & worthwhile to use, so if you’re going to be Kauai, mark your calendars now.
