Sometimes the best way to get closer to God is to get closer to nature. At Makanalani, we practice this daily in our farming activities, but it is also good to get out & see more of our beautiful island.
If you are on Kauai, you are lucky in that the Sierra Club offers many hikes. Not only is it an opportunity to see new areas, but also to enjoy the fellowship of other lovers of nature.
On January 9 the hike is an easy 4 miles round trip Russian Fort Beach Walk over on the west side. It will start at the Russian Fort in Waimea and walk along the beach to Makaweli.
