You probably know that the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, On Stranger Tides was filmed on Kauai. Much of the filming was done at the National Tropical Botanical Garden, McBryde Garden, in Poipu.
This Labor Day weekend, on the evening of September 6, you can see the movie & tour the set locations. The tour begins at 5pm at the Visitor’s Center across from Spouting Horn & the film will be shown at sundown, approximately 7 pm, with shuttles back to the visitor center at 9:30 pm.
Bring blankets or beach chairs. You’ll be able to purchase snacks & drinks there.
This is a family event & a great chance to get together with other fans. The suggested donation is $10 & will help fund research, conservation & public education programs.
