Have you heard of Sarah Hill?
We all know of the famous (& deservedly so) Bethany Hamilton, but do you know about Sarah Hill, another of the Soul Surfers? She is the head Kauai Child, a ministry directed towards the children of Kauai.
Her journey was painful, as so many of ours are, but as the strong do, she took that pain as a gift & it inspired her to look for God’s plan & purpose for her life. She went back to school after recovering from a severe surfing accident & got an Associate’s Degree in theology.
She now ministers to junior & senior high school students — more than 150 of them every week. She also helps form Christian clubs in public schools & provides counseling for students & their families.
