Everyone could use a little more happiness — & it’s easy to find at the 4th Annual Happiness Planting Japanese Cultural Festival.
Join the fun on June 20, 2015, 9:00 am until 4.00 pm in Lihue at the Happiness Planting Center, Behind Isenberg Park, and near AT&T.
The day’s activities will include Japanese Sushi rolling and Mochi pounding demonstrations, local foods, games, vendor booths, Bon-dance Kimono, Hair–Tabi Socks Shop, Kimono Dress up, Children Peace Exhibition by Hiroshima Peace Museum, Authentic Green Tea Demonstration, Ikebana Flower, Hula Dance by Rose T. Warken Ceballos, Joyful Noise Taiiko Drum, Omashar, Kyle’s Music Entertainment, The Sacred Earth Choir, Drum Circle by East Side Love Tribe and Fun. We also have the how to wear Kimono seminar, documentary movies. See you there!
There will also be a Special Exhibit Story of “Sadako and Paper Cranes: Hope riding on the wings of cranes from Hiroshima.
