It's been a slower month, and that's okay! We've been taking some time to focus on maintenance, cleaning, and updates around the property!

Kids House Maintenance
This month we have had some downtime between the groups staying with us over weekends. During that time, we have been able to strongly invest into deep cleaning the house post summer, and even replacing our Kids House solar panels!
We are thankful for everyone who has put in the hard work to keep this house in the best shape as possible to best serve the kids who come stay in it!

Makanalani Internship has a new name! The Hawaii Leadership Residency! Expanding upon its original vision, this program focuses on growing young adults in Mentorship, Community, Serving, and Adventure. As our fall group of interns arrive soon, we ask for prayer for safe travels and all God has in store for these young adults!

Four Baby Donkeys in a year!
We’ve had several additions to our mini donkey ohana this past year! Just within the last 12 months we have had 4 new babies welcomed to the farm, and each one has a strong and unique personality. Visiting kids have loved getting attached to the kind November, the feisty Poncho, the timid Ivy, or the curious little Sunshine!
Watching these littles grow and develop their unique personalities is always so fun, and seeing the kids fall in love with them makes it all the better!
