Young Adults from Modesto, CA came to stay at Makanalani. All of these kids have heart disease, and through learning to live with the difficulties of their condition, they have become stable mentors to other young children with heart disease. During their stay they had an opportunity to give insight and experience to Kauai kids with similar heart conditions.

Students from Calvary Chapel came to Makanalani last week. They enjoyed a few days of fellowship, the beach, and growing and learning together in the midst of God’s creation.

ABLE Ministries is such a blessing on the island. These VIP’s are individuals with special needs that came together for a day camp at Makanalani. During their time at camp they enjoyed times of worship, crafting, and dancing. Also, the slip-n-slide was a new addition to this years camp for this group, and it even allowed some of their VIP’s in wheelchairs or walkers to participate for the first time! Not to mention the campers enjoyed amazing messages from their leaders and spending the day with one another.
