World Oceans Day

World Oceans Day is a day for all our young keiki to take part in. Hosted by Storybook Theatre it takes place over two days and two locations. The aim is to bring the ocean alive for young people so that they can understand the majesty and beauty of what surrounds us, and learn more about God’s creation and how we can be better stewards of His gift to us all.

With Storybook Theatre’s marine inflatables you can explore an anatomically correct whale at leisure and learn all about these amazing animals and how important they are to our oceans, the Surfrider Foundation will be displaying marine debris with information on how we can keep our oceans cleaner and the impacts and how nature always finds a way with God’s guiding hands, and there will also be a Ocean’s day costume parade! Plus food, fun and performances.

To join in the fun head on down to Storybook Theatre in Hanapepe on Friday, June 7th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm or All Saints Gym and Lawn on Saturday, June 8th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. To find our more about Storybook Theatre click on their name to be taken to the website.
