See The Hawaiian Language Version Of Disney’s “Moana” As Part Of Kauai Ocean Fest

Kauai Ocean Fest is just that, a festival to celebrate and explore the oceans around us. Held at Kukui Grove and running every Friday and Saturday from February 1st until the 23rd. Every weekend holds new surprises with movies, guest speakers, displays and documentaries on current topics like humpback whales, turtle nesting, monk seals, voyaging, Hawaiian cultural approaches, keiki activities and much more! It’s a must for any ocean loving keiki (or grown up) and it’s all free!

Coming up on Saturday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm is a real treat however, the premiere of the Hawaiian language version of Disney’s “Moana” shown on the big screen at Kukui Grove’s foodcourt (perfect if there’s rain!) even if you don’t speak Hawaiian this will be a fascinating and new experience and you can follow the movie easily no matter what language it’s in. Continuing the night of Ōlelo Hawaii which means ‘Hawaiian language’ there will be a bingo session before the movie at 6:00 pm also in Hawaiian!
