Christmas brings many things and one of those is the chance to bring joy into peoples lives through gift giving, and it’s not just those who receive gifts who are blessed by this. When you purchase something locally made you are supporting the whole island, the seller has more money for their family, the host of the fair has incentive to hold more, and all who see the wonderfully array of goods lovingly produced on our fair isle can go home with tales of all Kauai and its people can offer, sharing the news with friends and family home and abroad.
That’s why we love our craft fairs, you are directly helping the local economy and people by shopping at them, and we all need to support that. So we are delighted to bring to your attention, not one, not two but three craft fairs that are taking place this coming weekend. We are sure you will find something for everyone on your list, and maybe a little something special for you too.
First up it’s the Kaua‘i Museum’s Annual Christmas Craft Fair, held on Friday, December 7th from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm you can find Christmas gifts from a variety of local food and Kaua‘i made craft vendors. It’s held at the Kaua‘i Museum and to find out more you can call 245-6931 or click here for the website.
