Kauai Is Making Sure That Nobody Goes Hungry This Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is about thanks, but also about food! Often people will refer to Thanksgiving as ‘the day of food’ or ‘the day of eating’ but it’s such more than that. Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and looking back to the first Thanksgiving the intentions were very clearly on giving thanks for their first successful harvest and sharing food with others.

Today that tradition continues with many others spending their Thanksgiving in service of others and sharing their time and food with the local community. And it’s not just about giving food to the needy, community and friendship, breaking bread with others in spirt is also a need and that’s why we are delighted to share these local Thanksgiving events with you so all may share in fine food and fellowship.

On Thursday, November 22nd from 10:00am until 1:00 pm you may join the Kapa’a Interfaith Association’s (KIA) Thanksgiving Luncheon at All Saints, the day starts with an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 10:00 am in the Church followed by lunch. They even have delivery for the elderly and shut-ins. To find out more call All Saints on 822-4267, email church@allsaintskauai.org, or click here for their website. http://www.allsaintskauai.org
