Sad News From KUGA Visual Arts

We have sad news to share that KUGA Visual Arts are shutting their doors for now.

You may remember some blog posts when we talked about and shared events from the keiki minded folks down at KUGA Visual Arts. They put on fun events such as ‘Halloween candy trade in’ and provided summer camps with an emphasis on learning the arts, as well as ‘Back to School sessions’ where keiki could learn: mixed media arts, clay making, modern crafts and use creation stations.

We’re sharing this statement from them here, and wish them well in the future and hope to see them providing fun events for our Kauai Keiki again soon.

‘With sadness, we write to let you all know that KUGA Visual Arts will be shutting its doors for an indefinite amount of time. It’s been a great six years planting seeds of creativity to both keiki and adults on Kauai and we’re forever grateful for the opportunity. Your children have inspired us and we are thrilled to know your amazing families.
Unfortunately, in our efforts to keep classes reasonably priced and accessible to all, the expenses of running the whole program have come to a place where we simply cannot continue. Perhaps it will come to life again in another season in the future but until then we hope that you’ve been inspired during your time with us and continue thinking, making, dreaming, and living creatively. We are so grateful for your support through the years!!! Don’t forget KUGA Dance is still thriving so make sure you sign up for those newsletters if you don’t already receive them over at kuga808.com. We will finish this month with the schedule below so please take advantage of signing up for one or all the workshops.

Tons of aloha and mucho mahalos,

Shannan Morgan & Kristy Maligro’
