Youth & Family Camping Trip with Crossroads Christian Fellowship

Ohana means family and family means everything.

Families are so important and finding time to be a family together these days can be a challenge what with work, school and other commitments eating away at our time.

The Bible is clear on how important family is to the Lord, as these verses show:

‘Exodus 20:12
Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.’

‘1 Timothy 5:8
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.’

‘Psalm 127:3
Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.’

‘1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.’

With that in mind we are delighted to be able to bring you news of a youth and family camping trip from Crossroads Christian Fellowship. Held in Polihale on the weekend of July 27-28 this is a camping trip for teens and their parents to take time in nature to reconnect with each and develop their relationship not just with each other but also with God in His beautiful creation, our island of Kauai.
