From the Makanalani newsletter
‘Every Friday is Ohana Day for our 19 interns and this last Friday we got to teach them how to make different types of Leis. They had a great time learning about Hawaiian culture, and spending quality time together. And even some of our own Makanalani kids joined the fun!
Every year, we at Makanalani are extremely blessed to host ABLE ministries from Lihue Missionary Church. This year’s activities included candy Lei making, balloon Foosball, and lots of dancing and worship. One of the highlights for us as staff was watching the ladies perform worship songs in sign language. It’s incredible to see them express the joy in their hearts as well as the love the leaders pour out on them.
We Love our sheep and after seeing these pictures we know you will too!’
