Here’s wishing you all a wonderful 4th of July, this year and every year. Enjoy your day celebrating our wonderful country and freedom. With friends, family, outside or indoors, cooking up a storm or firing up the BBQ we can all give thanks to our Lord and Creator for making all things possible and for our beautiful America.
We pray for good weather for those of you planning outdoor festivities or if you’re planning to attend one of our islands celebratory events. If you are please think of your pets and ensure that they are safely locked up, and if possible that you leave a noise source such as a television or radio on so they muffle the sounds of any fireworks that may distress your pets.
Also if you’re planning your own event and want to use firecrackers you will need to purchase a permit from Kauai Fire Department at Lihue Civic Center. This permit is needed to purchase and ignite firecrackers and costs $25. For Kauai Fire Department website click here.
