Mahalo Samaritan’s Purse

The good people of Samaritan’s Purse have done so much to help the people of Kauai to get back on their feet after the floods, not just with practical work like helping clean up, putting tarps up to cover damaged roofs and scrub scrub scrubbing to remove that horribly persistent mold! but they also offered much more, prayer, love and fellowship. While the practical help is appreciated and much needed the spiritual help means so much to people in times like this and its benefit cannot be underestimated.
You can provide goods and services but knowing that someone is there to hold your hand, pray with you and remind you that even when things look darkest God’s light is alway there to shine for you means so much, and that why we are proud to support Samaritan’s Purse.

This weekend on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th at 4296 Kaana St. across from Wilcox Elementary School from 8am until 1 pm there will be a Garage Sale to help raise funds for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, this wonderful cause provides children with a shoebox full of items and the chance to enroll in their 12 lesson Bible student course called ‘The Greatest Journey’ where they will receive a New Testament, Bible study materials and a graduation certificate at the end.
