As promised here is the second set of fantastic summer camps held on Kauai. We’re sure that there is something for every keiki with this selection.
Starting on June 11th is the Kaua’i Animal Education Center-KAEC Summer Camp. Suitable for ages 8-14 years it costs $175 for one week. Held at Kealia Farms you can find out more by emailing info@kauaianimaleducationcenter.org
The Summer Superhero Training Academy is running from June 11th to July 12th and from 9am to 3pm daily. For boys and girls ages 4-6 years old. Keiki will attend a superhero academy including indoor and outdoor learning and a superhero ceremony! Superheroes in training will need to bring their lunch and a base superhero outfit (shirt and shorts or pants that will be modified) a morning snack will be provided. It costs $1000 for 18 superhero training days but families who may need other payment options or financial assistance can call Jonathan Kissida 640-8952 to discuss. This camp will take place at Hi’ilei Playgarden Moon Room and Playground.
Healing Horses Summer Break Horsemanship & Riding Camp runs from June 11th to July 13th and daily from 9am to 2 pm. Suitable for ages 4 years and up. Your child will enjoy a fun filled equestrian adventure in a safe, educational environment with professional association therapeutic horsemanship certified instructors. Keiki are asked to bring long pants, bag lunch, water and sunscreen. It costs $45 per day and $40 if you attend for more than three days or for more than two siblings. Last but not least is the Hawaii Children’s Theatre (HCT) West Theatre Bootcamp. Held from June 11th to 15th this camp runs Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Perfect for all stage curious keiki this camp will teach the budding blocks of theatre from the ground up. Students will get the stage experience, learn how to project and perform with theatre exercises and games leading up to a short performance for friends and family.
