We’re hearing so much good news about friends and family that are welcoming a new bundle of joy into their families that we couldn’t help but share this event with you all. Babies are a gift from God and so very precious. But sometimes they need a little extra help when first joining us in this big wide world of ours.
Did you know that 1 in 10 babies born in Hawaii is born prematurely? And sadly that makes their chances for survival so much harder. Here’s how we can help those precious lives reach their full potential and go home happy and healthy with their families.
First of all we must offer our prayers. There is no greater way to show our love for someone than by offering prayer for them. But we can also walk, on Saturday, April 7th starting at 6:45 am you can join in the 48th Annual March of Dimes March for Babies a wonderful fundraiser to help these little lives fight for survival. Starting at Lydgate Beach Park Large Pavillon to walk the pathway in Lydgate Park you can raise sponsorship to help our island keiki or just offer your support to those walking.
