Spend Some Time This Easter Helping Those Less Fortunate In Our Community

Homelessness is something many people feel uncomfortable talking about or confronting, it may make us feel helpless, or ashamed that we have a home, or maybe even a little scared. But our Lord Jesus was homeless himself leaving his family to wander and spread the word of God. Both Luke 9:59 and Matthew 8:20 mention Jesus’ homelessness, ‘foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head’.

On Easter Sunday, April 1st from 10am to 1 pm Ohana Christian Fellowship Church are inviting the homeless community to Kapaa Beach Park for a free hot lunch. If you know someone in need, or are in need yourself you can go down to enjoy fellowship and food. They will also have: clothing, linens, household goods all for free plus a Easter egg hunt and related activities such as crafts for keiki.

Matthew 25:35
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
