The gift of a shoebox filled with goodies is something some children have never seen, in fact some of those who will receive these boxes have never been given a gift before, but you can change that. On Saturday, November 4th from 3 pm you can join Breath of Life Christian Ministries at 4303 Rice St Lihue to help pack your own shoeboxes to send to children in need. All that’s needed is you, and hopefully a donation to help cover the costs of sending each box (approx $9) the shoeboxes and items are already there.
They’re aiming to pack over 300 shoeboxes with items such as school supplies, toys, clothes, hygiene items, flashlights, hats and more. The shoeboxes will go to over 150 countries, and each one will be gratefully received by a child in need.
