Did you know that you could be an intern here at Makanalani? Makanalani Interns work on various jobs around the farm and at some local businesses in order to further the mission of Makanalani, which is to provide a free camp experience for kids in order that they may experience God’s love and the beauty of His creation.
It works like this. We have 3 Serve Sessions a year, each lasting approximately 3 months. The cost of a serve session is $1,000 plus airfare for those coming from the mainland. Your housing, utilities, basic food needs, and learning materials are provided. And we get 3 days a week to enjoy island life, go to the beach, serve in a local church, and rest!
While with us we gather one day each week for devotions and teachings to learn and grow in servant-based leadership skills. We learn how to take the skills we acquire here into future ministry opportunities.
