Or do you know some that do? If so they might be interested in the 7th Annual Free Keiki Surf Contest held by Deja Vu Surf Hawaii. Held on Saturday, June 24th, at Kalapaki Beach in Lihue.
There will be seventy-two keiki competing in three surfing divisions: ages 8 and under, ages 9-10, and ages 11-12. The reason behind this event is to give keiki the experience of being in contest format surfing. To enhance that experience every child taking part will receive a O’Neill backpack filled with prizes, plus there will be a delicious and free lunch kindly donated by Duke’s for all to enjoy.
The start time will be 8 am and you can pick up entry forms at Deja Vu Surf Hawaii stores in Kapaa and Kukui Grove Center, and also at Quiksilver in The Shops at Kukuiula in Poipu.
