Father’s Day On Kauai

How will you be spending Father’s Day? Do you have plans, a family meet up, a BBQ or beach day, or are you looking for a bit of inspiration?

We’ve found a few events spread around our island home that we wanted to share with you:

The Father’s Day Celebration, West Kauai Style on Saturday, June 17th, from 3:00pm to 10:00 pm has the title ‘Mahalo E Papa’; and is a musical celebration at the Historic Waimea Theater, featuring: The Homestead, The Pandanus Club & Sistah Robi Kahakalau and Friends. Bar and pupu. Pa’ina to follow featuring Bruddah Kimo Opiana. Tickets are $25 Pre-Sale and $25 on the door, and are available from MCS Grill, Deli & Bread Connection and Tamba. PMRF are doing a Father’s Day BBQ Dinner Special. If your dad’s a BBQ fan you can’t go wrong with their menu of: A Succulent Rack of BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Roasted Herb Potatoes or Steamed White Rice, Baked Beans and Corn on the Cobb, all for $23. The Dad’s Day Celebration at Kukui Grove Center Stage on Saturday, June 17th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm is a FREE event presented by Storybook Theatre. With Evelyn Roth’s inflatable coral reef, and Cirque Ohana Family Circus from the Big Island. Plus: free dad & keiki contests & prizes, entertainment, coloring contest, a silent auction, and no doubt lots more!
