Do you know any Middle School Students who love to learn, have curious minds and want to know how things work? Are you concerned that they may be bored this summer, or maybe you’d like them to learn something new, or fun on their holidays?
The good people down at Kauai Community College are holding a Summer Kids College for grades 6th-8th from June 13th to July 14th. Two classes a day from 8:00am to 12 Noon or 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
There’s a class for just about every kid, and they all sound wonderfully fun and educational. And while they aren’t free there are scholarships available.
Courses include: Myth Busters – Busting Myths in Science $105, GIS for Da Kine – Explore the World $105, Physiology – How My Body Works $130, Beekeeping $130, Cartooning $130, COGS Mission Explore $90, Arts & Science with Harry Potter $90, American Sign Language $130, & First Aid and Anatomy $130.
