How would you like to spend the day in the beautiful grounds of Grove Farm enjoying some Old Time Games? Well keep Saturday, April 1st free and you can enjoy some real old fashioned fun!
Games, races, and entertainment from the 1800s and 1900s such as potato sack, jump rope, and egg and spoon races, games of skill, plus pie eating contests are all on the menu, they even have small prizes to hand out from this bygone era!
To add to the fun there will also be a miniature horse petting zoo, puppet shows, a fortune teller and a tin-plate model train display. And The Sweet Shoppe and food booths will be open all day!
Entry is $2 per person, for families of 4 or more it’s $8. Games cost $2, and contests and races are $1 each. The proceeds benefit the continuing preservation of the non-profit Waioli Mission House and Grove Farm museums.
