Reading is one of life’s essential tools, and while many of us have fond memories of being read to as a child do you also remember how much fun it was when you learnt to read for yourself?
The joy of discovering Bible stories for children, a whole book of love and miracles that you could take anywhere to read is a joy we want all of Kauai’s keiki to have, that’s why we love Read Across Kauai day.
While this day encourages parents to read aloud to their children (something we feel is really important for family Faith sharing) it also introduces children to local authors, and provides children with new books that they can read at home.
