Valentine’s Day Is Just Around The Corner

And how will you be celebrating? Whether it’s a home made gift, or a romantic stroll on the beach, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love in any way you wish. And while no love can compare to that of our Heavenly Father we thought you might be interested in some of these Valentine’s events that are happening on Kauai.

On Saturday, February 11, 9am-1 pm Lihue United Church will be having their “Sweets & Sweet Things” event with gifts, food, treats, keiki games, crafts, and more! The proceeds will benefit Church renovation projects. If you’d like to know more call Jewel at 245-6253

For the first 14 days in February Kauai Humane Society and Best Friends Animal Society have teamed up for a Valentine’s adoption event. For the first 14 days in February all adoptions on animals 7 months or older will be $14 in honor of Valentine’s Day. You can find out more by visiting the Kauai Humane Society website by clicking here or call them on 632-0610.

There is also a new craft fair in town. Held every 1st Sunday, the Kauai Crafters Jewelry & Art Show is held in and around Princeville Community Centre and is the perfect place to pick up a island grown Valentine’s gift with goods on offer such as: Niihau lei, pearls, crafts, fossils, scrimshaw, jewelry supplies and much more.
