Anyone who has driven through Kapaa couldn’t fail to see Wyland’s huge whale mural on the side of Kauai Village Center, but sadly over the years we couldn’t help notice it fading. Recently we saw it had been painted over completely and thought the worst, but not to fear!
Thanks to kind donations, and his own God given talent Wyland is back on Kauai this coming weekend to completely repaint it. His new plans include our beautiful mountain ranges, a full moon over them, and over course his famous whales!
Everyone is invited to go and watch as he paints, he only expects it to take 2 or 3 days to be completed. If you want to do more than watch you can also offer to volunteer to help.
How exciting! We can’t wait to see the finished result.
