‘Don’t know what banana poka is? Well, it’s a really fun environmental fair on Kauai! It let’s adults & children learn about the forest in an engaging way & also includes ono (delicious) food & live music.
This year it will by on May 29, so get out those calendars & make your plans now.

- Banana Poka Basket Making
- Crafts, Drawings
- Hawaiian Entertainment
- Snacks
- Silent Auction
- and a Crowing Contest at noon (Kauai is famous for it’s chickens, after all)
It’s all free, but parking is limited, so get there early — the event runs form 10 am to 1:30 pm. You can bring your lawn chairs, but no coolers.
Oh, & it’s at Kokee State Park, one of the most beautiful place on our beautiful Kauai.
