A Beautiful Stamp of a Beautiful Place

A short post today, but worth mentioning, especially for everyone who loves Hawaii like we do.

The US Postal Service is issues a new stamp & it features Haleakala State Park on Maui.

Mostly, we just think this is a very beautiful image — the volcano with God’s rainbow draped across it is stunning. The photo is by Kevin Ebi from Seattle, Washington. You can read more about him & his photography here – he has quite an inspiring story.

And the stamp is part of a series that celebrates the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary. How very lucky we are to have these beautiful places preserved for us & for our children for generations to come.
