Makanalani recently hosted 9th graders from Young Life Oahu. We always have such fun with this group & this year we got a bonus. After the 9th graders, we we treated to a visit from Young Lives — teen moms & babies.
This is a group of amazing young women. They were able to learn how to surf in Hanalei, hike to the stone dam behind Kauai Mini Golf in Kilauea, & had makeovers. Emily even took professional photos of babies & moms.
These girls also received shoes and socks as part of our launch from Craig’s generous donation (please see today’s other blog post for more about this heartwarming story).
We were all so blessed to be able to meet this wonderful group. Eric and Lyn were able to take them to see the animals and watch the sheep dogs work the sheep. Great fun for the tots and moms.
