This Thursday, March 24, the Kauai Historical Society will present Wahi Pana o Wailua, or Storied Places of Wailua by Randy Wichman.
Wailua is a place of ancient Hawaiian legends & the meaning of many of the place names are rarely known. Randy Wichman is a historian & preservations who learned about the river & its story from his father, Frederick Bruce Wichman.
The talk will be at the Lihue Public Library & starts at 6pm. It’s free to Kauai Historical Society members & only a $5 donation for non-members.
