Hiking in Kokee

If you want to hike on our beautiful island, it’s hard to go wrong with the Sierra Club. This weekend they are doing a special hike, the Jewel of Kokee. It’s a strenuous 7 miles, so really only for those who are experiences hikers, but what an opportunity to see the forests & cliffs of the Na Pali Coast from the drop down.

It will follow Black Pipe Trail, Canyon Trail, & Po’omau Canyon Lookout. You cross over Waipo’o Falls for a view of Waimea Canyon to the ocean.

For more information or to sign up, call Ken Fasig 346-1229 or visit the Sierra Club Kauai website.
