Nature & Religion at the National Tropical Botanical Garden

A while ago we had a few posts about Christianity & caring for the environment. At Makanalani, we have the blessed to be so close to nature, since we feel that being close to nature is being close to God.

If you would like to know more about what other people are thinking on the topic of the environment & religion, on March 8 Dr. Julia Morgan will be giving a lecture presented by the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Poipu.

She will discuss environmental ethics from Hawaiian, Buddhist, Chinese, and Christian perspectives. The talk will explore similarities and differences in how religions relate to nature.

It will be in the Kauai Community College Cafeteria.
