Each group stayed overnight on subsequent nights & shared together on the day between.
We are so pleased to be able to host groups like this & to have an impact on young lives. The coordinators mentioned that it was a moving experience for them as well. Lives are being impacted by what we do, & there is no better feeling.
The School is a community-centered education program & has been around since 1997. The work through Hawaiian culture & nature based programs to improve the education for our youth & provide resources for families as well.
Kanuikapono is a “school without walls” where the environment & nature are considered the best classroom. We are happy that we were able to share Makalani with this organization that embodies so much of what we do & what we believe in.
